On Thursday, 8 April 2021, the 44th Grenzland-Filmtage Selb International Film will start in Hof’s neighboring town of Selb. In this year’s edition, which is taking place virtually for the first time, there will be 96 short films, medium-length and long feature films, documentaries and children’s films from almost 40 production countries for the audience until 21 April 2021. The traditional focus is on productions from Eastern Europe.
“For our visitors, the online festival means more Grenzland Filmtage than ever before. For the online festival, we don’t have to limit ourselves to just a few cinemas and days and can therefore present as many films as never before and for as long as never before. In a period of a whole two weeks, almost 100 films from all over the world are waiting to be discovered by our visitors.” Kerstin Fröber, first chairwoman of the Association for the Promotion of Cross-Border Film and Cinema Culture
