The TIME OF MONSTERS …

… is definitely this Saturday, 22 May 2021 at 8:00 pm with director Tor Iben at the HoF Rendezvous in the virtual Central Kino Hof and afterwards watching the ESC together.

TIME OF MONSTERS is a political musical and a homage to the diver bar. The drag queen Amanda von Hohenstüt has been running a trendy bar for many years. One day Justine de Brest appears in town and a fierce competition begins. The film glitters and shines in almost every scene. Behind it, however, lies many a message, which we will discuss together with Tor Iben and Amanda von Hohenstüt.

Afterwards, the competition continues as we watch the ESC Eurovision Song Contest 2021 together after our Rendezvous. In the open video chat, we can exchange ideas about songs, countries and also on the topic of “films from all over Europe”. Anyone who wants to sing along is cordially invited to do so – we’re looking forward to a monstrous time!

As always, the entire evening is free of charge. However, you are welcome to purchase donation tickets with a freely selectable amount. All proceeds go to the filmmakers. It’s going to be a monster evening with our monster partners Central Kino Hof, Rotary Club Hof and » Kino on Demand.

Since 2017, the Hof International Film Festival has been organizing the HoF Rendezvous under the motto “let’s do it again” at the Central Kino in Hof and at the Lodderbast in Hanover. These are screenings organized throughout the year as part of the Hof International Film Festival. The filmmakers also present their films in person. By doing this, we allow the festival to have further impact and increase the anticipation for the next festival edition. And at the same time, the filmmakers are promoted once again through our communication channels.

The HoF Rendezvous currently takes place, online and live, in the virtual Central Kino with the support of the Rotary Club Hof as well as Kino on Demand.
