The title of Christoph Fleischer’s Rendezvous documentary couldn’t be more fitting. Not only because from now on we will meet every Saturday at 8:00 p.m. for the online live screening in the virtual Central Kino Hof, but also because it is the life concept of our protagonist:
In Barcelona and Leipzig, we follow the life of the artist Naroma, who lives, works and organizes parties in former industrial buildings. She improvises and creates these industrial spaces from things that others throw away. “Places where people fall in love and finally find peace in this world,” she says. But these places are always the target of urban upheavals and disappear.
How do we want to live and what remains of our ideals and dreams? In the end, do we perhaps simply need someone to take them into their own hands, even if they seem unattainable? Many questions that we ask Naroma and director Christoph Fleischer during our film discussion.
As always, the entire evening is free of charge. However, you are welcome to purchase donation tickets. All proceeds go to the filmmakers. Our thanks go to the Rendezvous supporters: Central Kino-Hof, Rotary Club Hof and » Kino on Demand.
